Pop-Up Market Season
Happy Mothers Day!
This latest weekend was Dry Dock’s first foray into being a vendor in our local market scene! Saturday, 5/11 we participated in the annual Skagit Valley Plant Fair put on by the Master Gardener Program at the Skagit County Fairgrounds. It was a record breaking year with 3000 tomato plants sold by 11am! My mother pitched in (wo)manning the booth and we had a lovely time visiting with plant enthusiasts and fellow vendors. We even made it into the Skagit Valley Herald!
We’re famous!
also, please note my awesome jumpsuit…
Sunday we set up at the monthly Beer+Flea at Farmstrong Brewing in Mount Vernon, WA. The weather was fickle but the people turned out! There was such a fun mix of eclectic vendors pulling out all of the stops for Mother’s Day. Farmstrong Brewery has also created a lovely beer garden that is kid (both human and dog) so bring them by! We really hope to be invited back to this market next month. It is a goal to be at one market a month this summer season so follow us on Facebook or Instagram @drydockgoods to see where we will show up next!
This weekend was incredibly fun and I am again overwhelmed by the outpouring of support for my quirky little shop.
Love you all,
Morgan
